Marketing work
Verdant Works: planning & implementing a market research project: talking to various audiences to find out what they think of the visitor attraction and making recommendations to improve the visitor experience to help attract more visitors. 2011Public sector team - marketing training: working in a local authority to advise on constructing a marketing plan, making the best use of limited resources and help team members advise their clients on how to use new media to market their projects and groups.
Grossi's Dry Cleaners & The Ferry Launderette: planning & marketing strategy; creation of websites for both businesses; creation of facebook & twitter accounts and promotions; creation of marketing materials to promote speciality services; a campaign to target corporate customers and expand bridal services. Summer 2010
The Natural Bag Company: planning & marketing strategy; creation of a working marketing activity plan including measurement procedures. Sept 2009 - January 2010

The Brae: marketing planning, strategy and stakeholder engagement

Event Management
G Casino Dundee: plan & deliver a programme of events to increase awareness and engagement with a series of different audiences. Communicating how the casino can be used for different purposes, including conferences & sporting events. Included in the programme is corporate entertainment, a ladies evening with exhibitors and a corporate golf outing. 2011
Go4SET programmes in Dundee & Fife: planning & delivering a programme of projects on behalf of the Engineering Development Trust to help engage and encourage 13-14 year olds to consider Science, Engineering, Maths & Technology as future careers. Bringing together teams from across the regions, and pairing them with local businesses to support their projects 2010 & 2011.
Design Skills Symposium Stirling: working with Architecture + Design Scotland to assist in the planning & event management of this 3 day conference bringing together planners, architects and others involved in urban regeneration. Assistance with marketing the event, design & build of the event website; delegate management at the conference and venue liaison Sept 2011
Perth College UHI: working to support the college team during the graduation event in September 2011.
Showcase Exhibition, part of the Royal National Mod 11 - 15 October 2010
We worked on this week-long exhibition to allow visitors, competitors and local people in Caithness and Sutherland to find out more about organisations offering Gaelic language and Gaelic-related products or services, and local businesses. In addition we ran several events to support Scotland's Year of Food and Drink, bringing a taste of the local produce to a wider audience.
We were very lucky to receive a visit to the Showcase by HRH Prince Charles, who is also the Duke of Rothesay, and has strong links to the local area. He presented 2 gold medals to competitors at the Mod, before talking to all of the exhibitors and national sponsor organisations. What an experience for everyone!
